Terms of Service

Effective August 25, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and AllScorer for using the service. By using it, you accept them. They are short and in plain English so that you can actually read them.

The service

AllScorer is a free web app for scoring matches and running tournaments and leagues. We add, change, and remove features as the product develops, and we may pause or discontinue any part of it. Nothing here is a promise that a particular feature will keep existing.

Accounts

You can use most of the product as a guest. A guest account is created automatically and lives in your browser, so it is tied to that browser rather than to you. Clearing your browser data, or switching to another device, can leave that history unreachable. If your matches matter to you, create a real account.

With a registered account you are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information, and do not share your account with someone you would not trust to score in your name. You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, and in any case at least 13.

Acceptable use

Do not use AllScorer to:

  • post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, or that invades someone's privacy;
  • impersonate another person, or claim a player profile that is not yours;
  • upload anything you do not have the right to publish, including other people's names, photos, and personal details;
  • scrape, overload, probe, or otherwise interfere with the service or the people using it; or
  • work around the limits, security checks, or access controls we put in place.

Your content and public pages

The content you enter stays yours. By entering it you give us the permission we need to run the product: to store it, display it, and show it on public pages such as spectator views, standings, leaderboards, and player profiles. That permission is limited to operating and promoting the service, and it ends for future use when you delete the content.

Most tournament content is about other people. If you organize an event, you are publishing participants' names and results, and you confirm that you have the authority to do so, including permission from a parent or guardian where a participant is a minor. If someone asks to be removed from your event, we will act on that request directly. Organizing an event does not give you rights over a participant's data beyond running that event.

Scores and results are recorded by people, not by an official body. We do not verify them, and we do not arbitrate disputes between an organizer and a participant about what happened in a match.

No warranty

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that scores and data will never be lost. It is free software for scoring games, not a system of record. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, AllScorer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost opportunities, arising out of your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free product is zero. Some places do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account from the settings section of your profile. We can suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, that puts other users at risk, or where we are required to. Public content that other people depend on, such as a completed tournament's results, may remain visible after an individual account is closed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and the courts located there have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live somewhere whose consumer law gives you rights that cannot be waived by contract, nothing here takes those rights away.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes, and we will move the effective date at the top when we do. If a change is significant, we will say so in the product. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
